About me:
Growing up in South Texas surrounded by Hispanic culture and latin dancing, Deona always had a passion for dance. She started out making up dances in her own backyard with neighbours for talent shows, but mostly just for fun! She became a cheerleader in Junior High School mostly for the dance aspect. She started choreographing plays & shows for her local high school, and battling at all-ages events. She moved to Canada at 15 in shock with how many dance studios were in town! So, without any formal training, Deona stepped into a studio at age of 16. Since then she has won full paid scholarships, partial paid dance tours, awards for choreography and dance spirit, co-choreographed competition numbers, and stage shows for the clothing company Hurley. She has recently been featured in music videos, on local television, and stages across Toronto.
Deona is now sharing her love of dance through fitness! Come WAACK yourself into shape! Class times are as follows:
