This is your opportunity for a fun, empowering and confident photo-shoot experience and creating your own unique collection of stunning, modern boudoir portraits.  Lead by your Photographer, Marlen James, and hosted at the stunning Roosevelt Room venue in Toronto, a location inspired by the classic glamour of old Hollywood and the roaring twenties.

On July 23, 2009, DivaGirl Inc. launched Divalicious- the official DivaGirl Fitness Launch Party at Cheval Bar. The night was a smashing success that dazzled 200 Divas and featured 45 fabulous Sponsors.

On August 5, 2010, Shop Socials joined the party to help DivaGirl Inc. create Divalicious 2- the ultimate girls night out for over375 Divas held at the Roosevelt Room featuring over 20 retail vendors and 25 sponsors.

Welcome to Indian dance! The Instructional Bollywood Workshop is an excellent introduction to various forms of Indian dancing, including Classical Indian Dance, Bollywood & Bhangra. Regardless if you are a beginner or advanced learner, this is your opportunity to experience the wonderful world of Indian dance its culture. This workshop is credited with 2 FIS CECs with CAN-FIT-PRO.

About the Players
Carla Cathewood (CMC Entertainment)

Vivacious, courageous, and a fun loving workaholic would be the best way to explain Carla Catherwood. Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada she has worked professionally in the entertainment industry for 10 years. She is most known for her producing, directing and her Nuvo-Burlesque style choreography and is currently represented by Toronto’s very own Do-Dat Entertainment. On top of that Carla is a well diverse and strong dancer as well. Just recently Carla was cast to dance beside Vanessa Hudgens in the new feature film “Sucker Punch” and also has been cast in a principal dancer/actor role on the hit TV show, Smallville. She has also been blessed to work beside such celebrities and amazing professionals like Michael Buble, Shania Twain, Kelly Osbourne, Russell Peters, Hugh Hefner, Jessica Alba, and Halle Berry. She has also had the chance to produce and direct shows for the infamous Playboy Mansion, Club Intrawest, Heineken, Grey Goose, Much Music, Warner Bros, Vancouver International Children’s Festival, and For the Luv of It! live entertainment showcases.  She is also the Creator and Producer of her cabaret group “The Burlesque Beauties.”

Nuvo-Burlesque
Nuvo-Burlesque is a classy, feminine form of jazz/cabaret dancing that combines true technique and original style. We believe that you don’t need to strip your clothes to strip the senses.
