On July 23, 2009, DivaGirl Inc. launched Divalicious- the official DivaGirl Fitness Launch Party at Cheval Bar. The night was a smashing success that dazzled 200 Divas and featured 45 fabulous Sponsors.

On August 5, 2010, Shop Socials joined the party to help DivaGirl Inc. create Divalicious 2- the ultimate girls night out for over 375 Divas held at the Roosevelt Room featuring over 20 retail vendors and 25 sponsors.

Looking for the new Chic-A-Boom Room Dancers in Vancouver!
 

Carla Catherwood of Nuvo-Burlesque Dance & Laura Furtado of DivaGirl Inc. are looking for fresh talent to cast for the bookings of their upcoming “CHIC-A-BOOM ROOM” productions.

With sold out shows and bookings ranging from Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver and into the US this powerhouse team is looking to create a west coast division of the shows they are producing and booking out east!

What we are looking for:

Trained female and male dancers with strong jazz, street jazz styles. Vocalists and acrobatic/aerialists are a HUGE PLUS. We are looking for diverse, strong, and energetic individuals that want to work!

Come prepared with:

Headshot and resume. Women in heels and feminine outfits, men you are welcome to come and represent a masculine style or in heels as well (think Jojo Zolina type of style). All dance styles welcome.  Please come and LOOK THE PART!

The goal with “THE CHIC-A-BOOM ROOM” is to create and develop shows and showcase them first so we can then book the shows out to clients so we can pay our performers as professionals. If you are chosen to be apart of the cast then you will learn the shows as needed and rehearse and clean when booked out upon your availability.
